How do I get my photo submitted to you?

You will need to bring your photo to the Toledo Community Based Outpatient Clinic. There we will scan the image and then collect the Veteran’s information.

Does it cost anything for me to participate in Faces of Heroes?

Having a photo on the Faces of Heroes wall is FREE. But the photo must be of a Veteran, alive or deceased, or a solider in active duty, that lives or lived within 30 miles of Toledo, Ohio or is a patient of Toledo Community Based Outpatient Clinic.

What if I have a digital version of the photo I want to submit?

For security reasons, we require a physical, printed photo to be delivered to the clinic. We are accepting high-quality prints of digital photos.

Is there a limit to how many photos I can bring?

Yes, you are only allowed one photo per Veteran.

What is the Faces of Heroes Wall?

Fifteen hundred Veteran photos will be turned into glass tiles and placed together to form the Faces of Heroes wall. The wall will be unveiled at the commemoration of the new Toledo Community Based Outpatient Clinic in 2012. View the Faces of Heroes Wall.

What is the Faces of Heroes Virtual Wall?

This is a website that is a collection of all photos submitted for the Faces of Heroes wall. You can search by a Veteran’s last name, branch of service or service entry date (by decade). This site will be launched 2012.
